Merrill-Stevens’ Spain office was this year's Silver Sponsor for the Superyacht Cup Regatta, held in Palma June 16-19. Strategically scheduled between the Louis Vuitton and the America´s Cup in Valencia, this year’s race yielded the largest participation ever with approximately 52 sailing yachts participating. Lengths ranged from an average 30 m (100 ft) up to the staggering 88 m (288 ft) of the Perini Navi MALTESE FALCON. 

Our office overlooks the Bay of Palma, where the regatta takes place. This allowed us daily viewing of some of the most spectacular yachts sailing out and sailing back in.  Among the extraordinary sailing yachts spotted were Perini Navis, Dubois, Jongerts, Vitters, Alloys, Huismanns, Wallys - most of them in excess of 40 m.
