Work list: Replanking and rechalking. Installation of a new wormshoe. Replace missing stem timber along with transom planks and framing. New bottom paint and renewal of the shaft bearings

GRAND LUXE - 228' Nichols Brothers

Work completed: welding work, paintwork, full exterior paint job, interior completion, and systems commissioning. She is the largest yacht Merrill-Stevens has painted to date.

GRAND LUXE is be the only vessel to host SeaFair, a unique art exhibit experience which  travels port to port along the eastern seaboard of the United States. SeaFair offers collectors and connoisseurs a new portal through which to buy major works of art,  antiques and jewelry from dealers of international caliber in the collector's home community.

After leaving our yard, GRAND LUXE made stops in Greenwich, CT, Port Washington, NY, and Chelsea Piers, NYC. This first leg of her tour received rave reviews. She returned to the yard for some touch up work in December before heading off for Art Basel Miami Beach with future stops  scheduled in Sarasota, Naples, South Beach, Palm Beach, and Boca Raton.

GRAND LUXE is comprised of five decks which feature 28 galleries, two restaurants, a sky bar, and two additional cocktail bar areas. She is able to carry 600 passengers and 150 crew.

Merrill-Stevens is proud to be part of such a grand adventure.

MAJOR WAGER - 163' Feadship

Work list: Remove existing miscellaneous seating, helm station and cabinetry on sundeck. Fabricated a new aluminum buffett, a new bar and install a new refrigerator, freezer, wine cooler, sink, dishwasher and grill. Remove existing communication dome and install a new one at another location.

LADY ALLISON - 153' Feadship

Work list: Remove, rebuild and reinstall generator. Service main engines. Misc. carpentry repairs, paint work, machine shop repairs and stabilizer work. A/C repairs along with bottom paint and tank cleaning.

Duration: 8 weeks

MAGIC - 150' Trinity

Work list: Stabilizer repairs along with miscellaneous carpentry, welding and paintwork. Renewed piping, tank cleaning and exhaust modifications.

Duration: 4 weeks

TAJIN - 147' Trident

Work list: Full paint job, shaft reconditioning and alignment along with prop reconditioning and cutlass bearing and seal replacement. Engine and generator rebuilds. Miscellaneous fiberglass and teak repair, mechanical, carpentry and electrical work.

Duration: 3.5 months

TRIUMPHANT LADY- 147' Sterling

Work list: fabricate and install new swim platform and passerelle, relocate existing stairs, complete paint job, and miscellaneous piping.

LADY KATHRYN III - 145' NQEA

Work list: Bottom paint, renewal of rudder bearings and seals. Reconditioning of props, misc. welding, machine work, carpentry and paint items. ABS survey prep.

Duration: 4 weeks

PREDICTION - 143' Hakvoort

Work list: Troubleshoot and repair the stabilizer system. Mast modifications, miscellaneous paint work including hull. Miscellaneous interior modifications, miscellaneous carpentry and marble resurfacing.

Duration:  6 weeks

BOSSY BOOTS II - 136' Intermarine

Work list: Bottom paint, miscellaneous  paint work, welding, caprentry and miscellaneous electrical items. Modification and renewal of shower and walls. Renew applicances, overhead panels and water heaters. Mechancial work along with A/C and marble items.

Duration:  2 months

BETTY - 126' Royal Denship

Work list: A/C repairs, miscellaneous machine work, carpentry (formica work), Miscellaneous fiberglass repairs, Miscellaneous paint work, electrical, and welding.


Duration:  8 weeks

PERLE BLEUE- 124' Hakvoort

Work list: Miscellaneous carpentry, welding and paintwork. Various canvas work and life raft services.

Duration: 3 weeks

BLACKHAWK - 123' Feadship

Work list: Miscellaneous paint work, welding and carpentry. Renew A/C chillwater piping and miscellaneous electrical work. Removal of generator for modifications.
